College & Career Readiness

College and career planning begins as early as elementary school. Students are introduced to many different jobs in the community through career days and career units. Parents and guardians should begin early saving money for college tuition and expenses. Engaging in learning and maintaining good study skills will help students be prepared for future learning opportunities. Colleges and scholarship donors are looking for youth who are maintaining good grades, take rigorous coursework, be active in the community, and show leadership skills through extra curricular activities. It is never too early to prepare for college and career.
