Volunteer
There are many ways to give of your time and talent. Every way is important to the success of youth. Contact us and let’s talk more about how you can use your time and talent to invest in education of youth.
Board of Directors
The board of directors is the governing body of a nonprofit organization. The responsibilities of the board include discussing and voting on the highest priority issues, setting organizational policies, and planning for the direction of the Foundation.
Committees
Work on programs that engage youth into quality learning and career and college preparedness. You can volunteer on a board committee or a program committee. Program committee plans and facilitates the Early Childhood Literacy, Tools for Schools, Classroom Enrichment, and College Scholarship applications.
Volunteer at your leisure
Perhaps you have a couple of hours here and there and don’t want to commit to a structured routine. You can help with school supply drives, gently used book drives, stocking and inventorying the Tools for Schools Resource Center, transporting school supply and product donations to schools, stuffing envelopes for mailings. Allow Harford County Education Foundation to fit into your life!
